Membership

Hawaii Insurers Council has two types of membership:

Regular members
Any property or casualty insurance company authorized to transact an insurance business in the State of Hawaii that has satisfied any other qualifications set forth in the bylaws or established by the board of directors shall be eligible for admission as a regular member. Regular members are entitled to one vote and to appoint one member to the Board of Directors.


Affiliate members
Any individual, entity, or other person not eligible for membership as a regular member that has satisfied any other qualifications set forth in the bylaws or established by the board of directors shall be eligible for admission as an affiliate member.
