Membership
Hawaii Insurers Council has three types of membership:
Regular members
Regular members are insurance companies licensed to do business
in the State of Hawaii. Regular members are entitled to one vote
and a seat on the Board of Directors. Regular members' dues are
based on their direct written premiums in Hawaii to the pro rata
share of the budget.
Associate members
Associate members are associations of insurers. An associate or
affiliate member shall sit on the Board of Directors and have one
vote. Associate membership dues is a flat rate.
Affiliate members
Affiliate members are those who do not qualify for regular or associate
membership and promote the interest of Hawaii Insurers Council.
Affiliate or associate members shall sit on the Board and have one
vote. Affiliate membership dues is a flat rate.
